@TWILTalks ive tried both of them, and they both feel VERY VERY similar. except the swivel screen. and i dont think its worth the price difference.

@dvdngu they are definitely extremely similar. As far as I can tell, the biggest out of the box differences are the swivel screen and manual audio controls, and a couple of video mode settings (digital zoom, for one). Does that justify a $300+ price difference between the loyalty program and the retail? in my opinion, no.
Congrats on the great price! Mine was just? a little cheaper because I’m in Ky.

@eehbakery You just have to call 1-866-443-8002, which is the Canon loyalty program. You need an old? Canon camera to send in to them to get 20% off (I had an old canon film camera that didn’t work anymore). Or you can go directly to the Canon website, they’re doing 15% off refurbs right now, but most everything is out of stock (at least the worthwhile stuff). I believe the T2i kit is 543 right now, though, if it’s in stock.
